I chose the Best Western Royal St Jean because I was travelling from England to Bordeaux to attend a wedding. I travelled on Eurostar from London to Lille and tgv from Little to Bordeaux. I wanted a hotel near the Railway Station because I arrived very late in the evening. The two receptionists were absolutely sweet and most helpful. My room was very comfortable and my breakfast was excellent. I took a tram from the station into the town centre the next morning. Isin't Bordeaux beautiful! There was only one ugly building - the concrete Conservatoire of Music building. Why was this building allowed in your beautiful city? It was in every way a very pleasant stay. Thank you. Rosemary.

Delicious hot breakfast 🍳 and friendly staff that are willing to help. It's just a short stroll away from the train station, making it easy to get around to attractions and the historic area.

It's location close to the Bordeaux train station and the extensive tram system was excellent. Also, it was only a 30 minute walk to the center of town.

The breakfast here was great - they had soy milk, bacon, and a variety of fresh bread that was always restocked frequently. 🥓 the staff was super efficient and handled every situation incredibly well. They really went above and beyond.
